Affinergy, located in Research Triangle Park, NC, is developing cutting edge assays and research tools that will lead to improved scientific and diagnostic outcomes. Affinergy was spun out of Duke University in 2004 based on technology developed by Daniel Kenan, MD, PhD and Mark Grinstaff, PhD. Additional co-founders include Jonathan Gindes and Peyton Anderson. Affinergy has benefited from the support of the NC Biotechnology Center, the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, the National Institutes of Health, and a talented team of advisors. Affinergy currently employs approximately 25 professionals and has an extensive network of consultants and advisors.
